Stop Snoring Exercises

Tip! Avoid harmful drugs, alcohol or sleeping pills. Drug-induced sleep is more likely to loosen up your throat muscles, causing them to fall back into the throat and result in snoring.

Today I will reveal a few exercises that can help your snoring. Some of these exercises may seem a bit strange, some of them may seem silly. But all of them can help to reduce your snoring. So let’s get started.

Firstly, these exercises work on the fact that if you focus on exercising the area of your body that is causing the snoring, then you will see results. And the area that causes snoring is mainly your throat. Some of the exercises will involve making funny sounds… which may seem strange… but stick with it, and see if it helps.

Tip! If you’re a smoker, kick the habit. Cigarette smoking can disturb your sleep and can increase the likelihood of snoring.

Many of the exercises I’m going to teach you are similar to the exercises a professional singer uses to keep their throat, jaw and tongue in good working order… so they can do their job. These exercises can also help you with your snoring.

Okay, let’s get on with it.

Here’s the first exercise: Open and close your mouth to the full extent possible (you should do this slowly, not with sudden movements. You don’t want to cause yourself damage of stretch something).

Stop Snoring In 7 Days. Cure Your Snoring Naturally From Home In 7 Days.

Here’s the second exercise: Push your lips out as much as you can, and hold this pose for a few seconds. You may want to do this when they aren’t any people around, so you don’t look nuts.

The next exercise for you to try is this: Press your lips together firmly. You may feel some kind of movement in your throat, or you may not. Either way, it will help over time. Again, hold these pose for a few seconds. Around 5 should do.

Here’s the next exercise: Do the same as the previous exercise, but part your lips ever so slightly and draw in a little bit… think of the action you make to take a sip of a drink. You may feel a slightly different movement inside your throat when you do this. You will be feeling the part of your throat that the exercise is suppose to firm up.

Tip! Exercising and losing weight can not only be part of a healthier lifestyle for you; it can actually reduce the size of your palate. A smaller palate can reduce the likelihood of snoring.

Here’s a few tongue exercises you can do.

Here’s the first one: Point your tongue straight out. Do it as far as you can, but not so hard as to feel like you’re over-exerting it. Also, you want to keep it straight and level while you’re doing this.

Here’s a second tongue exercise: While you’re tongue is pointing out as described above, move it all the way to the right, and then to the left… as far as it can go.

Tip! Avoid alcohol many hours before going to bed. Snoring is more likely when muscle relaxation occurs.

The next exercise is to try touching your nose with your tongue. (You don’t actually have to be able to touch it). Also, do the same thing, but the other way, reaching down towards your chin.

Lastly, this exercise involves pushing your tongue against something. So you poke your tongue out (as in exercise one) But use something that will give some resistance. Such as a spoon, or something else that you thing will work just as well.
All of these exercises work to strengthen the muscle at the back of your tongue which will help increase room for the air to travel through your airways while you’re breathing at night.

I hope you found this useful.
